- I love this shot from when I was about three-years-old, purely because the expression is one of pure joy. Despite the bowl haircut and chubby cheeks… It reminds me of a story my mother told me – about how I would walk into a room and announce ‘Here I is!’ and stretch out my arms as if expecting huge applause merely for my existence. Ah, the arrogance of youth… Regardless, I hope the photo and story give you cause to smile.
